NXT Runs RAW

NXT Rookies DOMINATED tonight on RAW

NXT completely took over the ending of RAW and man,was it SICK! I don’t know who could have not liked that. It’s been a long time since the ending of RAW has really made you talk and made you excited to tune-in next week. In one fell swoop they’ve got the wrestling world buzzing and 8 rookies on the radar of all of the WWE Universe.

Honestly, this is a fantastic move by the WWE. We all expected for them to get Wade Barrett out there and maybe a few of the others, but all 8 NXT Rookies, together and going over the biggest name in their company – John Cena? No way.

The NXT Rookies, lead by the winner Wade Barrett, went out destroyed John Cena, and everyone else in sight as well. CM Punk, Luke Gallows, Matt Striker, Jerry Lawler, Mark Eaton, Justin Roberts, the refs… they laid EVERYONE out. And to really get them across and over, they destroyed the entire ring area; they tore it all up.

I think it’s safe to say that the WWE has some real potential here. I’m really excited for what could be in store with the Rookies. This is just what the WWE needs to help establish new stars in the wake of so many huge names trickling out.

I’m really hoping that the WWE can follow up on this HUGE move. I’d be really sweet if they just sent them out there, like the NWO, and take over whenever they feel like it. The NWO was great and worked so well because of the things they pulled and so if done right, I think it’s really possible that the WWE could have 8 new stars out of this when it’s all said and done.

Looking forward to what’s NXT.
